The Men on Mars
Helena Terra is an exile from Earth who dreams of going home. Nate Rickman is an ex-patriot who has no intention of returning to the green planet in his lifetime. Unfortunately, Helena is obsessed and willing to take a dangerous course of action to find a passage home, and since she’s an employee, Nate takes on the role of her protector…or is it more than that? Maybe Nate has his own obsession going on, one that he won’t admit to himself, one sparked by witnessing Helena in the throes of passion with two strangers. Does leaving Mars together necessarily lead to a happy ever after, or, at the end of this voyage, will they each go their separate ways?
